Qing, principal instructor at The Practice Space (TPS), started her yoga journey in Shanghai where she learned the benefits of a dedicated practice. Today, over a decade later, her practice has expanded to include resistance training, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and other various forms of cross-training workouts. Qing’s practice has led to dramatic strength and flexibility improvements over the years. Other positives include reduced stress, increased mental fortitude, and decreased weight gain. The benefits of her dedicated practice has prompted her to take multiple 200 hour teacher training sessions with the intention of passing these benefits on to you! Qing’s dream is to create a yoga, fitness, and lifestyle entity to help motivate and encourage people to get active. No matter what your skill-level is; TPS is here to help you find your practice!
Qing teaches Power Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, HIIT, Yin, and resistance training. She teaches class in both English and Mandarin Chinese languages! Qing is also happy to share dietary, health, and other lifestyle solutions with you!

My name is Katie, a proud native of the Pacific Northwest, born and raised in Enumclaw, Washington. I live on the Eastside and have been teaching group fitness since April 2022 and earned ACE certification in Group Fitness Training in 2023. My experience includes rhythm cycling, reformer-based strength training, and bootcamp-style strength classes. I find great joy in connecting with others through movement and music and hope to continue fostering connections in this space for many years to come.

I’m Retty, a bilingual (Chinese-English) Pilates instructor, licensed massage therapist (U.S.), and former national-level athlete from China (Class II). With a strong foundation in anatomy, sports performance, and energy healing, I guide women through transformative movement journeys rooted in both physical precision and intuitive depth. As a mother who practiced Pilates throughout pregnancy and experienced an empowered natural birth, I now help other women reconnect to their strength, softness, and sacred rhythm. My work bridges: • Classical Pilates & functional movement • Therapeutic touch & anatomy-based alignment • Mystical principles, lunar wisdom & breathwork • The body as a sacred vessel for healing and awakening I hold space for women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, transitions, and soul-aligned embodiment. Movement is medicine. The body remembers. Your power is already within.

Fitness is truly one of my biggest passions. Growing up as a dancer, I LOVE getting lost in the music and the movements. I’m a firm believer that physical movement is what connects your head, and your heart to feel as strong as your body.
My purpose and goal is teaching fitness classes here is to get inspired, be creative, seeking connections and a sense community by being my most authentic self.

Marisa started her yoga journey over 20 years ago to get back in shape after giving birth to her daughter. Just like any beginner, she practiced at home using instructional videos. The first time she stepped into an actual yoga studio, years later, it was a Hatha Hot 26+2 class. Little did she know that first class would change her life forever. The in-person yoga class challenged her in more ways both physically and mentally than any online class she had ever taken. She decided then and there to practice regularly and never looked back. The daily interactions with various yoga instructors and other yogis resulted in faster gains and improvements in her own practice. Beyond that, yoga gave her the opportunity to look at life more objectively and with greater awareness.
Back in 2019, after almost 15 years of being a dedicated student of yoga and seeing how much yoga had helped her, she decided she wanted to share these benefits with others by becoming a teacher. She also recognized that even being the best student doesn't automatically make you a great teacher, so once again, she set out to learn and experience more. Now, with a 500 RYT certification, over 200 hours of continuing education and 500+ hours of teaching experience, she not only knows how to guide her students but also how to support them in their journey while maximizing their progress. She specializes in Hatha Hot 26+2, Hot Power Fusion, Vinyasa/Power Vinyasa, Yoga Sculpt and Yin. She is also an experienced Yoga Teacher Training Coach and Soundbath Facilitator using Crystal Singing Bowls.
"I hope to help every one of my students achieve more success, more happiness, greater peace, and aid in their discovery of what is possible, all through yoga. Namaste."

Sherry is a dedicated yoga partitioner with a deep foundation in traditional and modern practices, blending discipline, creativity, and compassion in her teaching. Her teacher training journey began with a 200-Hour Prana Yoga TT under Jimmy Smalley in December 2023, where she developed a strong grounding in the Ashtanga Primary Series and hands-on adjustments.
Continuing to expand her practice, Sherry immersed herself in the Rocket Vinyasa system, completing two 50-hour advanced trainings with Brendan Smullen and Christiane Coste at The Yoga Shala Seattle. She is certified to teach Rocket 1, Rocket Basics, and Rocket 2 sequences, offering students a balance of strength, playfulness, and freedom within structure.
In November 2024, Sherry studied directly with Sri Dharma Mittra in New York, completing a 50-Hour Dharma Yoga Training. This experience deepened her connection to yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditation, and Dharma-inspired asana sequences. She further enriched her practice in February 2025 through a 200-Hour Universal Yoga Level 1 Training with Guruji Andrey Lappa, integrating multidimensional movement and sequencing. Most recently, she completed a 100-Hour Creative Flow Training with the founder Evan Wang in August 2025 located at Shanghai, China.

Anissa is a Bellevue native with a passion for yoga and her community. She loves how it can be energizing and uplifting, restorative and self-reflective, relaxing and meditative. Yoga can take you on a journey through energetic flows and beautiful choreography. A couple years ago, she was inspired by several of her favorite yoga instructors to get certified to teach. She spent 15 days on the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres to fully immerse herself and get her 200 hour YTT certification. Since then, she has been teaching weekly yoga classes in local parks during the warmer months and moving indoors when the weather cools. Anissa's primary focus is Power Vinyasa, but she also enjoys practicing Hatha and Yin yoga to bring variety and balance to her practice. Her goal is to create an inclusive and energizing environment where students feel empowered to grow in their practice and find harmony in their lives.
